For an !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!

The speakers in the back never worked, so I took out the old ones that did not work and am going to replace them with these:

Here is what they look like from inside:

So I had to take the back part out , the part between the rear seats and the glass. That’s where the old ones were. But I had to remove my rear seats first:

This is the part I was talking about. I’m going to remake this and cut out the size of the new speakers in a new or other slate.

The only thing is, the new speakers didn’t work when I tried them tonight in the car, but they did work before on something else. I still have to figure it out.

I’m not done, but I thought I’d show my progress

Before you ge too far along, you need to figure out why your rear channels aren’t working. A simple continuity test will tell you if it’s the wiring or the amp/head unit.

The rear worked when I plugged in some Sony PC speakers, so I have no idea why the rear won’t work now.

what impedance were the speakers that worked, and what impedance are the ones you are trying to put in? Automotive sound systems usually use 4Ohm speakers.

I honestly don’t know, they are hand-me-downs and Pioneer is a good brand so I figured it would be okay. I’m going to look into that more tomorrow, thanks!

If the impedance is good, then make new wires from the radio to the speakers that are new and short. See if they work then. If so, get new wires. They may be compromised and the old speakers are more forgiving?
